Befriended on YouVersion Bible App. He wanted to switch to Google Chat so we did. He soon "fell in love with me" and then the almost non-stop asking for money started. I then looked and saw he had deleted his Bible App profile. I blocked and reported him and then he made a new email to talk to me again.
Reports are submitted by people globally. If there is enough evidence, it's likely a scam. Celebrity impersonators are always considered scammers, often stealing money and resorting to blackmail if you've shared sensitive photos.
