Pedophile from Sarnia, Ontario, named Tom (possibly named K Tom Hall), engaged in conversation with someone he believed to be a 14-year-old girl on Skype.
Scam/Fraud Info:
This individual named Tom (63 years old) from Sarnia, Canada, thinks it is O.K. to talk to a 14-year-old girl on the Skype app. We discussed the age multiple times, and he had enough chances to block and report the underage female, but he decided not to; in fact, he continued the conversation and tried to groom her further.
We do not understand why people that are 18+ think there is no problem talking to an underage girl on the internet. What goes through their mind when they start talking to an underage victim? This question will remain open.
Social Media should start adding more filters that trigger such conversations and suspend their accounts immediately, and not wait until the victim becomes an actual victim of a crime. Also, the report options on Skype do not work; we have tested the report options; all reported accounts that violated the code of conduct of Skype are still active and can continue their criminal acts on underage girls, that is one of the reasons why Skype is on our Wall of Shame. We will publish a Blog soon to explain more about Skype and why they switched from our Wall of Respect to our Wall of Shame, all we can say, for now, the abuse team of Skype got lazy suspending all the accounts that we have provided to them because the number goes over 10 thousand and more. Then they told us to use the report option via the Skype app, but the problem is, it is not working, or it is working, but they do not care about the reports that come in. Still, they ignore the reports or are too lazy to work on them. Besides that, when we report too many accounts on Skype, our own Skype account gets suspended all the time for reporting too many accounts because they have a stupid filter that triggers unusual activity; this filter is specially made for pedophiles to prevent them from getting suspended, congratulations Microsoft.
We are going to show you some snippets of the conversation. Keep in mind Tom did never ask the underage female for explicit images or videos. But he is still a pedophile because he mentioned "sexuality" and other alarming things in the chat; besides, he could not stop talking to the 14-year-old girl.
Let us start with the age:
14-year-old girl:
how old are you?
Tom:
63
You
14-year-old girl:
ohh.. i am turning 15 this week
Tom:
I would be in a lot of trouble
Lol (laughing out loud)
After he was O.K. with age, he asked for a photo of the underage victim. We have sent him a picture of a decoy, and he sent a picture of himself.
Then he started to talk about a woman's body:
Tom:
I want a beautiful woman I can say anything to and see her body. You are too young for that
And once again, he knows that she is underage and the trouble he could get into when talking to her:
Tom:
Because of your age. I would have to be very careful about anything that I say or see
Out of a sudden, he started to mention the word "sexual":
Tom:
I'm not allowed to say anything even close to sexual
And I'm not allowed to send or receive those type of pictures
You will have sex soon enough. You are very beautiful
The last sentence is very alarming; why would a grown man tell an underage girl that she will have "sex" soon enough? This question will remain open as well.
He also tries to play the role of a hero who tells her things like:
Tom:
Please understand that there are a lot of perverts out there that will want you to show them things. Don't
Bad people who will ask for you to show yourself
They will ask you to show them parts of your body that nobody else should see
Furthermore, he said this:
Tom:
If you were 18 there are many things we could do
14-year-old girl:
for example, what could we do?
Tom:
Lol
You know that I can not answer that
I can't. You are 14
Please send me a better picture of you
In the end, we confronted him, and we had a quick but normal conversation. But he thought that we were in the wrong and that he only wanted to protect the 14-year-old female. This is funny because if he had protected her, he would have never asked for a picture or mentioned sexuality at all. He should have reported and blocked her and moved on; that would have been the wisest decision.
Reports are submitted by people globally. If there is enough evidence, it's likely a scam. Celebrity impersonators are always considered scammers, often stealing money and resorting to blackmail if you've shared sensitive photos.
