They pretend to represent an Australian company, Device Technologies, and offer you a job ($26/hr for data entry) where you need to purchase a lot of Apple hardware and software to be paid with a check from a company other than there own. They state that is the way the 3rd party company pays what they owe their company. There are no correspondences that indicate you are actually communicating with someone from Device Technologies. The original contact is via text from a Neo Nader (305-432-9849) who asks you to download Signal Messaging app and then passes you along to a Rubben Diaz (720-213-6735) for a 2 hour IM text 'interview'.
