Attention! Stacksocial is a lying/scam company StackSocial/StackCommerce
Scam/Fraud Info:
The company StackCommerce.com and StackSocial.com are one and the same, they are liars and scammers and I can tell you why!
A few years ago they offered PureVPN Lifetime subscription, that means 5 years + an additional 5 years extra free-of-charge once the 5 year plan is close to expire, then I have to send an email to the support of StackCommerce. It once said in the description on the offer page, but they deleted that a few years after my purchase.
I have contacted them using the exact same email support@stackcommerce.com - I have requested my extra 5 year free-of-charge subscription, but then I have got a response, they told me PureVPN no longer offers 5 year plans, so I will not receive that what I was promised 5 years ago and paid for. But furthermore, they offered me a Lifetime subscription of KeepSolid VPN..... for free.....
After that email, I have contacted PureVPN Level 2 Support which is the billing department. They told me a completely different thing.
Here is what they have told me:
(original context)
---
Please allow me to explain the situation why it has happened. There is a reseller legal agreement in place between PureVPN and Stack Social particularly for the deal you bought on their store. According to the agreement and their instructions, they own you as their customer and therefore want us to renew the subscription after every 5 years only when they tell us to do so.
Like you, we also thought the process to be smooth until we got a notification from SS not to renew any such subscription and want us to route all users to them for alternate VPN options. By doing that, they probably have some commercial objective to achieve or to support their other partnership. However, we assure you, we are not turning our face from it and therefore request you to get a single line email from StackSocial to us to extend your account and it will be done in seconds.
---
With that being said, StackSocial/StackCommerce are big liars and scammers.
I have of course send another email to the said company, but now they ignore my emails. And I tested them, I used a different email and have send them an email regarding an error when trying to order something on their website, they immediately responded to the email... and offered help. But they do ignore my main email that I used to contact them. I also tried a different email with the same PureVPN issue, also they ignore that email, which proves they are ignoring me now and got caught lying!
I want to warn everyone purchasing Lifetime subscriptions from that company StackCommerce / StackSocial.
Trustpilot removed my review so I am sending it here in hope you are better than Trustpilot
