Koke Yepes, scammer uses real photos of him
Scam/Fraud Info:
This person uses real photos of Koke Yepes and uses different gmail accounts with versions of stewartmcgee(number) or mcgeestewart(number). They also had an IG account using Koke Yepes photos which suddenly disappeared one day. I also found another IG account stewart.mcgee40 that again used a photo of Koke Yepes. I chatted with them on google and within a few weeks this person turned to romance very quickly talking about how they feel they found their soulmate. I was asked to purchase apple cards, which I did. Then the stories started about finding gold bars while deployed and they needed an address to safely ship the gold to. The gold bars would get stuck in customs somewhere and then I would start receiving emails about the amount of money they needed for certain certificates. The amounts were outrageous and they wanted the transfer done by bitcoin. When that wasn't possible, I was given an account to a bank and a personal account to transfer money. I started making excuses why I couldn't come up with the money. The scammer would back off for a day or two but eventually come back to how they really needed me to pay the fees on the box. They would routinely call me through google and even did a couple video chats. I grew suspicious over time as the video calls seemed off. Doing research on video calls I determined this person is fake, while the video chat seemed real enough, the quality of the video was bad, it seemed to loop or cut suddenly, it seemed pre-recorded. I also did several image searches using the photos this person sent me and found numerous scam alerts and profiles using the same photos but different names. The more I challenged this person the more invested and convincing they seemed to become. I eventually blocked them. Buyer beware. Do your research and block and report these people as quickly as you can. They will ruin your life.
