Scammer reached out through instagram and quickly changed the platform to google chat. The scammer quickly made in roads to romance, telling the person everything they wanted to hear. Scammer claims to be a Marine, divorced, raising his two kids on his own, and deployed to Yemen without access to his finances. On a mission to a terrorist camp they found gold bars and took them. They needed an address stateside to send the gold bars for safekeeping. The scammers use Diamond Star Express as the shipping company and use a customerservicediamondstarex@gmail.com as the customer service contact information. The box routinely gets caught up in customs and the "company" requests payment for certain certificates, etc. to get the box out of customs. The scammer is using photos of Koke Yepes.
